About The Law Office of Jason Vaughn, PLLC
Mr. Vaughn is a United States Marine Corps veteran, serving as a Military Police corrections specialist. He served at Camp LeJeune and Camp Hansen Okinawa, Japan.
Mr. Vaughn has worked with the State of North Carolina Department of Corrections and New Hanover County Sheriff's Office where he rose to the rank of Corporal. Attorney Vaughn has gained a vast understanding in many aspects of Law Enforcement in his over 16 years of experience.
He earned his bachelor's degree in criminal justice administration, graduating Summa Cum Laude and was elected as the regional representative of the North Carolina School Resource Officer Association. Attorney Vaughn has earned numerous law enforcement certificates and certifications.
While attending North Carolina Central University's School of Law, Mr. Vaughn worked as an intern with the 5th Prosecutorial District, District Attorney's Office and gained trial experience and handled thousands of criminal and traffic cases. He also worked with a law firm in Raleigh, NC on Employment issues, Personal Injury, Workers Compensation, Family law, and Social Security Disability issues. He maintained his law enforcement certification until the day he was admitted to the North Carolina Bar. Mr. Vaughn was awarded for his Pro Bono work by the North Carolina Bar Association. Mr. Vaughn has also volunteered with the North Carolina Azalea Festival and was the 2012 Parade Co-Chair, the 2013 & 2014 Parade Chair, and 2015 Airlie Luncheon Co-Chair. Attorney Jason Vaughn was the Republican nominee in the 2014 general election for the office of New Hanover County Sheriff after a successful bid in the May primary race.

When he is not representing our clients, you can catch him spending time with his wife of 21 years and 3 beautiful children.... traveling, camping, golfing, or on the ball field with his son.
Randa Sofield
Paralegal
Randa has been with our office full time since 2016. She is from the western part of NC but has called Wilmington home since 2009. Randa has her Associates in Applied Science- Paralegal and Notary Public. She enjoys spending time with her husband and two small children. When she is not helping take care of our clients, Randa can be found volunteering at her children's schools, serving as the Secretary in the PTA, and making fun experiences for her family. Randa is dedicated to making sure our clients feel important, and she enjoys getting to know them.
Tasha Wickline
Legal Assistant
Tasha is from Charlotte, North Carolina and has lived in Wilmington for 11 years. Tasha studied Psychology and Sociology and comes to us with a background in Office Management, Legal Assistance, and Notary Public with a combined 14 years of experience. When she is not helping assist with taking care of our clients, she enjoys spending time with her husband and their five children. She can be found enjoying the western NC mountains, golfing, and traveling with her husband and family. Tasha is committed to not only supporting the firm but the needs of our clients by personalizing each individual's interaction.
